Free Career Development Services

SA Career Consultants has secured funding to provide Career Development Services in Eastern Adelaide. The program aims to assist unemployed (or underemployed) jobseekers who need help in achieving their career aspirations and locate paid employment.

The service is funded by SA Works and the North Eastern Development Agency Inc. (NEDA)

Hurry - Limited Places

The Career Development Service - Eastern Adelaide is expected to be very popular but funding is limited so eligible jobseekers will be accepted into the service on a first-in first-serve basis.

The service is voluntary and with limted resources so jobseekers who participate must be committed to finding paid work and achieving their career goals.

What type of help is provided?

The Career Development Service can provide assistance with:

• Career Guidance
• Resume Development
• Application Letters
• Government Applications
• Interview Coaching
• Job Search Strategies
• On-line Applications
• Networking and Self-Promotion Advice

Who is eligible?

- Residents in any of the following Council Regions

• Adelaide City Council
• Campbelltown City Council
• City of Holdfast Bay
• City of Mitcham
• City of Norwood, Payneham and St Peters
• City of Prospect
• City of Tea Tree Gully
• City of Unley
• Corporation of the Town of Walkerville
• The City of Burnside

- Unemployed or Underemployed (working 5 hours or less a week)

- At least 17 years old

- Not participating in full-time study at any Secondary School, College, TAFE SA or University

How does the service work

This is an individualised service. You will be linked with one of our professional Career Consultants who will work with you to determine what type of help you need.

Some jobseekers may only need 1 or 2 consultations whereas others may need several visits.
