Introduction to Databases

Introduction to Databases is designed for those who have little or not experience using database software. The primary aim of the course is to provide students with the competencies needed to perform a range functions using Database software.

Design and create simple databases
Use and create tables and fields
Create relationships between tables
Design and run reports and queries
Print and store database information

Introduction to Databases can be completed as a stand-alone unit or as an introduction to a more advanced software course. A Statement of Attainment is issued for achievement of competency in this unit.
